A new kitchen in Wiltshire typically costs £20,000 to £30,000 for a custom kitchen and £30,000 to £50,000 and above for a bespoke one. If your layout works and the carcasses are sound, a kitchen refresh at £15,000 to £20,000 can give you a kitchen that feels new for less. These are guide figures only, confirmed at your Home Design Visit.
What does a custom kitchen cost?
A custom kitchen typically costs £20,000 to £30,000, designed and installed. It suits a room where the layout needs to change, or where the old units are past saving.
The cabinets and doors come from a long-standing UK manufacturer, and I design the kitchen around your room, plan every run of units and fit it myself. See /custom-kitchen for recent examples.

How much does a kitchen refresh cost?
A full kitchen refresh typically costs £15,000 to £20,000. It keeps your existing carcasses and layout and replaces what you see and use: doors, drawer fronts, worktops, handles, lighting and, where needed, appliances.
It is the best value when the units are sound and the layout already works. You can read more at /kitchen-refresh.

What does a bespoke kitchen cost?
A bespoke kitchen typically costs £30,000 to £50,000 and above. Every piece is designed for your room and hand made in solid timber in my own fully-equipped cabinetmaking workshop in Corsham.
Bespoke suits older houses with uneven walls and awkward alcoves, and anyone who wants freestanding pieces such as an island or dresser made to measure. See /bespoke-kitchen.

What drives the cost of a new kitchen?
The biggest factor is scope: whether you keep the carcasses, change the layout, or have every piece made. After that come the worktop material, the door style and finish, and how much internal storage you want.
Appliances, lighting and any building work such as moving plumbing also add to the total. The side-by-side guide at /compare-kitchen-options shows how the three routes differ.

When does a kitchen refresh make more sense?
A refresh makes sense when your layout already works and the carcasses are solid. You keep what is good and spend the budget on the parts you see and touch every day.
If you are unsure, the free Home Design Visit is the place to find out. I will tell you plainly whether a refresh will do the job.
