A New Kitchen, Personalised Around You
If it’s time for a completely new kitchen, but you don’t want something straight out of a showroom or catalogue, this approach offers a more straightforward and personal result
Using high-quality trade-only kitchens and components made in the UK, I design and install a custom kitchen that reflects your taste, your home, and how you live — not just a standard range
And when a project calls for it, I also design and build bespoke cabinets and furniture in own workshop
As an independent business, I’m not tied to one particular supplier or catalogue. We can choose to combine products from different suppliers, in novel ways, to create something that’s unique
When This Is the Right Choice
This option is well suited if
- Your existing kitchen no longer works and needs replacing
- You want a new kitchen without the cost or lead times of a fully handmade build
- You value quality, longevity, and a clear process
- You want one person to design, supply, and install your kitchen from start to finish
- You want the ability to add custom (or bespoke) personal features
It’s a practical way to achieve a personalised kitchen without unnecessary complication
What “Personalised” Means in Practice
Trade-only kitchens provide excellent foundations — high-quality doors, well-made cabinets, reliable fittings, and proven systems
Where my work adds value is in how those components are selected, combined, and detailed
I design your kitchen in your home, bringing samples directly into your space. Seeing and handling these in your kitchen makes decisions easier and more confident
Where needed, I also design and build
- Custom or bespoke cabinets
- Fitted or freestanding furniture
- Personal details such as shelving, knife racks, bookcases and storage features
The result is a kitchen that feels cohesive and considered — not something lifted straight from a showroom
How the Process Works
The aim is to keep the process clear, well organised, and as stress-free as possible
Home design visit
I visit your home to understand the space and how you use it, and to explore ideas using real samples in your kitchen
Design and specification
I develop a clear design and specification, combining trade-only components with any custom elements needed to make the kitchen feel right for you
Supply, installation and completion
I manage the project through to completion, carrying out installation with great care and attention to detail
You deal with one person throughout
What It Costs
Every kitchen is different, but having a guide helps
As a rough guide, a custom kitchen, sink & tap and quartz work surfaces sits in the £16–25,000 bracket
Costs vary depending on size, layout, finishes, and the level of customisation
Budget is discussed early on, so the design stays realistic and comfortable from the outset
Results You Can Expect
Clients often say their new kitchen
- Feels personal and homely, rather than showroom-y
- Works better day to day, with storage and layout designed around them
- Looks right for their home, rather than imposed on it
The aim is always the same — a kitchen that feels like it belongs to you
