Kitchens in and around Bath are rarely square, which is exactly why a refresh works so well: the fitting is done by a cabinetmaker who can scribe to an uneven wall without complaint.

The Georgian and Victorian houses have thick walls and floors that move. Catalogue doors fight that; doors made to measure and properly fitted do not.

If your cabinets are sound, colour is the quickest change. Spraying gives a factory-smooth finish in any colour, or range (e.g. Farrow & Ball).
