A custom kitchen designed around family life
The project began with homeowners who had explored several local and national retailers but hadn't found a kitchen that truly suited their family's needs or their home.
Rather than adapting a showroom design, we worked together in their home, refining layout, materials and details until the kitchen felt personal, balanced and right for how they live.
What was done
- Simple shaker cabinetry in Regiment Green
- Solid wooden doors, factory painted in a rich, considered green chosen to suit the light and character of the room.
- Blended quartz and oak work surfaces
- White-veined quartz in the sink and cooking zones for durability, with warm natural oak softening the social peninsula.
- High-quality carcasses and construction
- Factory-built cabinet structures gave a reliable, long-lasting foundation for the design.
- Ceramic undermount sink and clever storage
- Kessebohmer and Blum in-cabinet mechanisms keep the kitchen a genuinely productive space.
The result
- More tailored to the family's daily routines, with materials chosen to suit how the space is used.
- More balanced and cohesive, thanks to a controlled palette and complementary surfaces.
- A bespoke solid oak shelving unit at the end of the peninsula added attractive, practical storage.
The outcome is a kitchen that feels personal and grounded. Not drawn from a range, but designed around the people who actually use it.
