Kitchen spraying in Bradford-on-Avon

The existing cabinetry was sprayed green, retaining the kitchen layout, appliances and work surfaces.

The Bradford-on-Avon kitchen was renewed with professional spray finishing rather than replacement cabinetry. Removable doors and trims were sprayed at the workshop, while fixed cabinetry was protected and sprayed in place.

What the steps are

Doors and trims come to the workshop: Everything that can be removed is taken to the controlled environment of the workshop spray booth, minimising mess in the home.
Prep, spray and cure: Components are cleaned, filled, sanded and primed, then given around four coats of industrial-quality cabinet paint, curing between coats in the drying room.
Spraying in the kitchen: Fixed components are masked off and sprayed in place, with wall, floor and ceiling protection throughout.
Re-install and adjust: Doors and drawers go back on with new hinges, knobs and handles, then each one is adjusted so the gaps and alignment are even.

The result

A durable, factory-quality finish that hand painting cannot match.
A completely different room without new cabinetry, new surfaces or a long disruption.

Spraying renewed the finish while keeping the sound carcasses and existing layout.
