Whichever route you choose, every project starts with a relaxed home design visit and a clear, straightforward conversation about what will work best for you
Which Is Right For You?
Which Option Creates The Least Disruption?
A home design visit is will help clarify the right decision for your home and what the likely impacts of your project will be on the running of the household
Generally, the least disruptive option is the kitchen refresh
Much - if not all - of the existing cabinetry (and its contents) can remain in place. The kitchen can continue to function for:
storage
food preparation
washing machine and dishwasher
and an operating sink - temporary or new (if undermounted, but minus the worktops)
Which Option Gives The Best Value?
If the existing layout still works and the cabinets are worth keeping, a kitchen refresh can often deliver a big improvement without the cost of full replacement
By focusing on the parts that make the biggest difference — such as doors, work surfaces, colour, storage, sink and tap — it’s often possible to create a kitchen that feels significantly better without starting again from scratch
It can also mean less disruption, less waste and a more efficient use of budget
What Usually Makes Most Sense?
That usually comes down to two things:
whether the layout still works, and
whether the existing cabinetry is in good enough condition to build from
If both of those are true, a kitchen refresh can often be the smartest route
A home design visit is usually the best way to assess that properly and work out what is genuinely worth keeping, improving or replacing
