Professional Spray Finishing That Transforms How Your Kitchen Feels
Changing the colour of your kitchen can be one of the most effective updates you make
Done properly, it can make a space feel lighter, more settled, or more like you
Professional spray finishing is a precise way to personalise your kitchen without replacing it
When Professional Spraying Is the Right Choice
This option is often right if
- Your kitchen layout still works, but the colour feels tired or dated
- You want a high-quality, factory-style finish rather than a DIY look
- You’d like a noticeable change without replacing doors or cabinets
- You have high-quality, solid wood doors that warrant a new lease on life
- You want a clean, controlled process with minimal disruption
For many clients, it’s the most straightforward way to refresh the look of their kitchen
What Changing Colour Does
Colour plays a big role in how a kitchen feels day to day
A carefully chosen colour scheme can
- Make a kitchen feel brighter or calmer
- Bring cohesion to cabinets, work surfaces and furniture
- Help a space feel more personal and considered
Because colour behaves differently in every home, choices are always made in your space, using real spray painted samples
How the Process Works
The process is designed to be tidy, well organised, and stress-free
Home visit and colour discussion
I visit your home to assess the existing kitchen and talk through colour options, finishes, and sheen levels
Preparation and spray finishing
Doors, panels, and components are carefully prepared and professionally spray finished at our workshop for an even, durable result
Re-fitting and finishing
Everything is refitted with care, with close attention to alignment, edges, and details
Where appropriate, spray finishing can be combined with new handles, hinges, or other small - or larger - upgrades
What Can Be Spray Finished
Depending on your kitchen, this may include
- Solid wood cabinet doors and drawer fronts
- End panels, trims and plinths
- Fixed panels and visible internals, where suitable
- Freestanding or fitted furniture
I’ll always advise honestly on what will deliver the best long-term result
What It Costs
Costs depend on the size of the kitchen, the number of components, and the finish chosen
As a guide, spraying doors, end panels, plinths, etc would cost roughly £120-150 per item, excluding VAT and installation
Anything which cannot be easily removed for re-finishing at the workshop (since it requires painstaking masking off and other additional tasks when spraying inside your home), would cost more
During your home visit, I’ll give clear guidance on whether spray finishing alone is the right solution, or whether it works best alongside other updates
Results You Can Expect
Clients often say that after professional spray finishing
- The kitchen feels cleaner, brighter, and more modern
- The finish looks consistent and high quality throughout
- The space feels refreshed without feeling overdone
It’s a change that’s immediately noticeable and easy to live with
